Tim Malooly, CID, CIC, CLIA, President of Water in Motion, was elected Vice President of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA).

Minneapolis, MN — January 17, 2018 — Tim Malooly, CID, CIC, CLIA, President of Water in Motion, Minneapolis, and resident of Excelsior, Minnesota, was recently elected Vice President of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA).
Malooly is the chair of the MNLA Government Affairs Committee and has also served on the Irrigation Association Board of Directors. In 2017 Malooly received the MNLA Grow Results award for his tireless commitment to growing the green industry in Minnesota and to achieving results through government affairs, both locally and nationally. In 2008, Malooly was named the first EPA WaterSense® program Irrigation Partner of the Year. In 2003, he was honored as the MNLA Volunteer of the Year.
Also elected were President Scott Frampton, Landscape Renovations of Afton and Faith Appelquist, Tree Quality LLC of St. Paul. Re-elected were Mike McNamara, Hoffman & McNamara Nursery of Hastings; Jeff Pilla, Bachman’s, Inc. of Minneapolis; Nick Sargent, Sargent’s Landscape Nursery of Rochester; and John O’Reilly, Otten Bros. of Long Lake.
Continuing to serve on the Board of Directors, but not up for re-election this year are Matt Mallas of Hedberg Supply in Plymouth and Randy Berg, Berg’s Nursery, Landscapers/Garden Center of Austin.
The Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association is the state’s largest green industry trade association with more than 1,100 member businesses including garden centers; landscape contractors and designers; tree and flower growers; irrigation contractors; and lawn, tree, garden and snow services.
