The Water in Motion team is excited to share an accomplishment of our President, Timothy Malooly. The Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association presented Tim with the “Grow Results” award of 2017 for his commitment to the growth of Minnesota’s green industry and his numerous achievements in public affairs, locally and nationally.
Celebrating Leadership in Legislative Advocacy
Timothy Malooly was honored with an award from the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association (MNLA) during their annual “End-of-Session Celebration” on Wednesday, June 14th at The Toro Company headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota.
The event was held in honor of MNLA members, coalition partners, and legislative champions for their hard work and dedication to advancing Minnesota’s green industry through government affairs and advocacy during the 2017 legislative session.
Tim Malooly, president of three green industry businesses located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, including Water in Motion, received the MNLA’s first-ever “Grow Results” award for his ceaseless commitment to growing the green industry in Minnesota, and to achieving results through government affairs.
Tim has served as the MNLA’s Government Affairs Committee Chair for seventeen years. During this time, Tim has lent his time, energy, experience, and expertise to the MNLA’s efforts, and tirelessly demonstrated exemplary leadership in legislative advocacy.
Tim embodies the association’s “call-to-action” mindset wholeheartedly and advocates with years of experience and knowledge of the green industry. The “Grow Results” award represents MNLA’s appreciation for Tim’s commitment to the growth of Minnesota’s green industry and his numerous achievements in public affairs locally – and nationally.
Other award winners included Senator Kari Dziedzic (DFL, 60), Senator David Osmek (R, 33), and Barrett Lawn Care (MNLA member business located in Richfield, Minnesota).
